Guildline Instruments has been in business for 52 years designing, developing, and servicing instruments to measure electrical properties.  The Company makes ultra-precise electrical and temperature measurement instruments, many of which are unique and represent the only commercially available instruments capable of accuracy in the sub parts-per-million range.  Our products are used for research and as the primary instrument with respect to establishing traceability to fundamental electrical standards.

MUT

The Military University of Technology (MUT) was established in 1951 in Warsaw, Poland,  and acts within the framework of the Polish Ministry of Defense. The MUT offers programs for all levels of university education, from undergraduate to doctoral studies for both civilian and military students. HBM

Haefner

HAEFNER is one of the leading companies in the manufacturing of weights and its accessories. The enterprise was set up in front of more than 75 years. Since 1984, company HAEFNER has a generous calibration laboratory which makes adjustments and calibrations of weights in the highest accuracy classes possible. Since that time weights of the highest accuracy class “E1” are manufactured in series in our company. RELACRE

RELACRE – Portugal Accredited Laboratories Association it is a non-for-profit private association, doted of juridical personality and technical, administrative and financial autonomy, having its own patrimony.

It was established in 1991 as an initiative of the most relevant entities, private and public, directly involved into the laboratorial activities (21 entities – founder associates – with accredited laboratories) with the objective of representing at a national and international level the metrology and testing Portuguese laboratories.

At the present time RELACRE congregates 298 members, mostly laboratories, independent or belonging to companies, covering the most relevant testing and metrology activities needed to the industry and society and general, but also technologic and quality infrastructures and other public and private entities interested in the development and recognition of the measurement and testing activities.

Through the follow-up of the lab community, either accredited or interested in accreditation, RELACRE tried to respond to their needs. To this end, it developed a set of activities intended to enhance the quality of services delivered by calibration and testing laboratories, to foster and support the implementation of quality systems and their recognition, to facilitate the mutual recognition of testing results, to promote information on and discussion of issues related to quality in general and testing results quality in particular, as well as to create an enabling environment for training and qualification of laboratories human resources.

The main objective of RELACRE is to promote the quality and competitiveness of services delivered by calibration and testing laboratories, either public or private, either independent or belonging to industrial enterprises or to other entities.

The Portuguese Society of Metrology (SPMet) is a non-profit private association that has the purpose of promoting the study, dissemination and development of Metrology. The SPMet has the following main activities: Dissemination of metrology concepts; Promotion of IMEKO national representation by participation in the activities of the different Technical committees and realization of scientific meetings in Portugal namely periodical realization of Conferences and Seminars.

 

KRISS

Since its establishment in 1975, the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) has participated in a wide range of research and development relating to the primary national measurement standards in order to enhance national competitiveness and quality of life.
KRISS undertakes to maintain traceability in measurement to the SI through calibration and other services as well as to improve measurement quality. KRISS ensures that our state-of-the-art measurement technologies provide positive impact to the industry and the community.

As a client-oriented research institute, a strategic goal of KRISS is to build and expand networks with industry, academia and other research organizations. For exhibition, there is about 80m2 without any pre-fabricated structures and the pricing depends on the amount of space required.

Past conferences in this location held up to 26 exhibits with individual areas of 6x1m, 5x1m, 4x1m, 3x2m, 3x1m and 2x1m.

 

Venue

Concerning the venue itself, it has two floors:

  • 4 conference rooms in the ground floor (including the bigger auditorium) and about 35m2 of exhibits
  • 3 conference rooms in the first floor with about 45m2 for exhibits. The wide staircase that connects the two floors leads directly into the upper floor exhibit area.

Reservation depends upon availability and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
So, to ensure your participation in the World Congress, send as soon as possible an email confirming your interest.

Reservation will be confirmed after a 25% payment.
Payments are done by bank transfer with the details to be sent when formal reservation is received by the Congress organization.

The last payment (75%) must be completed by June 15th, 2009.

There are no refunds for cancellations.
